Privacy Policy
Effective 10 September 2026
This policy explains how the T2Do iOS app handles information when you organize tasks, use iCloud, or connect Google Calendar. For questions, contact kadeem.jeffery@mail.lavalabs.ai.
Your tasks
T2Do stores the information you enter, including task titles, notes, dates, time blocks, projects, tags, subtasks, and optional location and phone details, on your device. Location and phone details are fields you enter; T2Do does not need access to your device's location or address book to use them.
iCloud synchronization and widgets
When iCloud is available, task data can synchronize through Apple's CloudKit service in your private iCloud database. Apple processes that information to provide iCloud under its own privacy policy. T2Do's developer does not operate a server that receives your task database. Home Screen widgets access a local snapshot of relevant tasks through shared storage on your device.
Optional Google Calendar connection
You can use the core task features without signing in to Google. If you connect Google Calendar, T2Do communicates directly with Google to sign you in and retrieve calendar information and events for your schedule. This can include calendar names, event titles, dates and times, and event details. T2Do also retrieves your Google profile name and email to identify the connected account.
The current Google permission request includes calendar access. T2Do uses the connection to read and display calendars and events; it does not use it to create, edit, or delete your Google Calendar events. Access and refresh tokens, your profile name, and your email are stored in the device Keychain. This information is not sent to a developer-operated backend.
You can sign out of Google Calendar in T2Do Settings to remove the locally stored Google credentials and account details. You can also revoke T2Do's access in your Google Account permissions. Google processes information under its own privacy policy.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, T2Do schedules local reminders using your task information. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Reminder content may appear on your lock screen according to your device settings.
Advertising, tracking, and support
T2Do does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. If you email support, the information you choose to send is processed by the email services involved so your request can be answered. Please avoid sending sensitive task or calendar information unless it is needed for your support request.
Retention and your choices
Your tasks remain in the app until you delete them. When synchronization is active, changes can also synchronize through iCloud. You can manage iCloud storage and backups using Apple's settings. Removing the app removes its app container, but does not necessarily remove iCloud data, backups, or Keychain items; sign out of Google in the app or revoke access with Google to disconnect the account.
Service providers
Read the Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy for more about their services. The T2Do website is hosted by Netlify, which processes web requests to deliver the site.
